Challenge
On February 6, 2010 The USquare Food Court hosted the National Food Court Eating Championship along with the Wisconsin Collegiate Eating Championship.
These events brought some of the nation's top Competitive Eaters to the USquare Food Court to compete for these two prestigious titles. The National Food Court Eating Championship was won by one the world's most recognized Competitive Eaters - Ian "The Invader" Hickman. He proved himself worthy of the National Food Court Eating Champion title by eating 102 ounces of food in 8 minutes. His astonishing feat included the complete consumption of the following food court favorites:
- 20 ounces of Fried Rice from Nori Japan
- 3 Maki Rolls from Nori Japan
- 10 ounces of Quizno's club sub sandwich
- 16 ounces of Stir Fry 88's orange chicken
- 18 ounces of Sbarro's cheese pizza
- 32 ounces of Bubble Island's bubble tea
"The Invader" accomplished this feat following strict Picnic Style rules which did not allow for the separation, mashing, dunking or other interference with the food as it was presented.
